What Are your service areas?
We service parts of Lewis & Thurston County WA, including Chehalis, Centralia, Napavine, Winlock, Toledo, Tenino, Rochester, Tumwater, Olympia & Lacey.
How often should my dog be groomed?
BigPaw requires all pets to be on an 8 week or less schedule. The recommended grooming frequency is 4-6 weeks between appointments. Pets with behavioral issues are required to stay on a 4 week or less schedule with an additional fee.
What if there is an emergency and my pet needs to go to the vet?
If there is an incident with your pet, you will be notified immediately. The pet will be taken to the veterinarian the owner lists on their intake form.
Do you groom cats or other animals?
Yes, we groom well behaved cats. We only offer baths and blow outs, nail trims and shavedowns. No specialty haircuts.
Will my dog interact with other dogs or be kenneled?
We provide a one on one service with your pet(s). They will not be kenneled during their appointment.
What do I as the client need to do in order to be prepared for my first appointment?
We operate multiple rigs, including a truck and trailer. We ask for at least 40ft of parking space available for the groomer. All of our units have their own water, water heater, and extension cords. We do ask for there to be access to a outlet, preferably in a garage, outside outlet or laundry room (20 amps is recommended).
The owner or guardian of the pet is required to be present for the first appointment. All dogs must be on a leash and collar that they are unable to slip out of. We recommend slip leashes or martingale collars, no flat or buckle collars. Hand off to the groomer should be quick and fluid, as to create an easy transition and calmer mindset. Owners may not enter any of the units unless given permission by the groomer. Owners are not allowed to stay in the mobile unit, knock on the doors/windows, or open the door during the duration of the groom.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or card. We do NOT accept checks. Please note that cards on file will be charged in the event of a cancellation.
